Fire and Art

Burning Man is a unique event that takes place each year on a playa (or dry lake bed) in the Black Rock Desert in northwest Nevada each Labor Day weekend. It is an opportunity for artists and musicians to perform and show their work, to experience the extremes of nature, and watch a lot of things burn. I attended in 1995, '96, and '97 and hope to go this year.
